So me and Effendy went to Leeds on 23Jan2010(Saturday) just to buy a box of indomee.. lol.. It’s located in Leeds. The shop is called Hang Sing Hong Oriental Supermarket, it is located just in the city. Location here. So here are some pictures taken yesterday. these pictures were taken using my phone ;p

Cirque Du Soleil 10/01/2010

We went to London on the 7the Jan 2010(Thursday) and stayed one night there. It is also kinda a vacation for the winter break. It’s good to be out of Bradford once in a while. Surprisingly, there wasn’t much snow in London compared to Bradford. We went to Harrods, Royal Albert Hall (for Cirque Du Soleil, this was the main purpose we went to London), Ripley’s Believe it or not Museum (suggested by my friend Fatima), Jom Makan (a Malaysian restaurant), Aquarium, Big Ben, Tower bridge and lastly Oxford Street.

On our way back to Bradford, there were slight problem with our train from Leeds to Bradford. The station didn’t update the label/notification for the train so we just went on the train, but they did informed on the train BUT it wasn’t clear enough for us to hear anything he said so we end up using the wrong train and got stranded in Doncaster (i.e. middle of no where), waited there for about 40 mins for the next train to York, then waited for about an hour in York for the next train to Leeds. Then took a taxi back to Bradford. We arrived home just before 3 am in the morning. It was freezing cold in all the stations. Just wanna go home at that point.

After ripley’s we went to Jom Makan for lunch.

It’s a bit pricy but it’s the only malaysian restaurant we can find, but it was worth it. The food is really good!

Nocturnal shark are lazy during the day. No not lazy, they are just like that during the day. They are more active at night.

We love the shark tank. This kind of shark, always showing its teeth, not to scare but coz they just can’t close thier mouth.

Snowman~ 25/12/2009

This is the first time i made snowman since i came to the UK. I wanted to make one since last year, just never had the time or the snow to do it. I was so excited wanting to make the snowman for the first time, which made me forget that i had left my keys inside. Oh boy~ but making the snowman was a lot of fun! After finishing making it, that was when I started to worry if we ever going to go back inside -.- We’ve waited for about two hours outside in the freezing cold. Thank God, one of our housemate got back from work and unlock the door It was really cold. Will never forget keys ever again…

This was taken around 4 in the evening and we’re loosing light fast.

It wasn’t that difficult to make snowman unlike the one I’ve watched on amazing race season 14 :p And oh~ after an hour or two, the neighbor’s kids stole our snowman

It had been snowing in Bradford lately… It was so beautiful and everything is white which reminds me of my days in Romania. It was also freezing cold :p I took the time to take some picture to share here

Open Water Dive 07/12/2009

06.12.09 is my nephew, Suhaid’s birthday. Happy Birthday Abang Suhaid

The Uni of Bradford Sub Aqua club went for our first open dive for this semester. And its definitely first time for some of us. IMO, it’s kinda crazy going open dive in December, it is winter after all. We left Bradford at 9.20 am, arrived at destination at 12 noon. So here’s some pictures…

My semi dry, it was difficult to get in :S Its actually 2 suits altogeter. Long suit inside and a shorty outside.

About 5 mins after dive, i gave up. I was quite scared. I couldn’t fin and I wasn’t moving at all, so because of this, I was left behing, after few seconds, my instructor realise, then the went back for me. I said I want to go up.

Everyone helped me to get out.

My gloves were bloated with water. My glove and boots was filled with water, it was rather warm. Well, the water is supposed to keep you warm. That’s how semi dry works.

At the end of the day, around 3 pm. It was really beautiful at the quarry.

The Delph 05/12/2009

Tomorrow we will be going for open dive at Eccelston Delph. Of course we will be going with our instructor from BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club). They are the UK’s leading dive club and they provide an internationally-recognised diver training. You could read more about BSAC from the link I just gave. The Delph will be about 1 and a half hours from Bradford, we will also be passing by Manchester to go there. Will update soon with the open dive activity Insyallah.
